The house is unpacked and we are getting ready for Fall. The kids already know what they want to be for Halloween. Today Valerie helped me weed out the dead summer flowers and clean up outside. Soon we will buy pumpkins to decorate the yard.
The kids are enjoying their new daycare/pre-school. Valerie brings home new art projects everyday and is always singing new songs she has learned. Cameron enjoys hugs and playing with baby dolls. His teeth are coming in, so he always has something sticking out of his mouth to chew on. We like to take walks in our neighborhood. Valerie is learning to ride her 2-wheeled training wheel bike. We have to keep up with Cameron, as he explores everywhere.
We love working at the University at Buffalo. Nate and I are about a 5 minute walk from each other and often meet for lunch. Most days we can ride to work together. We are finding time to workout and spend more time together now that Nate doesn't have to commute so far to work. I am doing a lot of workshops about drinking alcohol responsibly and am also helping students quit smoking. Nate is wow-ing his students and co-workers in his new teaching position in Higher Education. We are still getting settled in at our new Unitarian Universalist Church. The couples that work in the nursery there are nice and Valerie cheers when she knows she is going to "church school" with the other 3-4 year olds. In a few weeks we will attend an auction there.
We are keyed in to the Presidential election and hope everyone remembers to vote! --Sharlynn
